From the first day we opened in 2003 we have served the award winning Isle of Mull cheeses made by the Reade family. Here is a picture of Garth testing the cheddar.

The taste of the seaside Best seaside restaurants in the UK

The White House, Argyll, Scotland

This modest, unassuming restaurant in rural Argyll plates up exquisite seafood and meat dishes, worthy of a Michelin star or two. Their commitment to sourcing local produce from nature’s larder is admirable, including stags liver from Morvern, fresh lobsters from Oban, and hand-dived scallops from the Sound of Mull. Oh, and the salad is grown in the garden: it doesn’t get much fresher than this.
